You don't "need" a girlfriend. You need oxygen! You need food! You need water! But you don't need a girlfriend. And if you feel you do, well unless you live in that remote part of the world where women don't exist, girls are everywhere.
But you want one because you are sad and depressed because you are alone....you are identifying your happiness with being with another. Try being happy on your own. Finish (or start school), get that promotion, beef up your game, hit the clubs and get laid.
Live life for yourself, instead of having it tied to one person. Not only will that make you a more well rounded person, but also create an air of independence and self confidence that women like.

Why cant you still date her??? i mean just cause she lives in ameica doesnt mean u cant visit her??? try to meet someone at a club or something if its that big of a deal.
