im 13 and its my dream to go to the naval acedemy.i pray every night for god to keep me on that path.but at the same time i wanna just be a kid.always in my mind im thinking of that school.idk why but its just the most amazing place ever.yea i want to hang with my friends and date guys and stuff but that place is the most important thing to me.is that wrong?

Girl go for it, if this is what you truly want, you shouldnt let anyone hold you back, and trust me this will do you good when your older big time, and dont worry about guys right now seriously, and you go out there show them what you are made of. I really hope u do decide to go, thats really inspiring :o)

That's great that you want to go to the naval academy!!! It's your dream and nothing should stand in the way of it. You have plenty of time to prepare for your future, so enjoy the time you have as kid. And when the right time comes around to go to school, go full throttle and plunge right in, no matter what other people say. And if you start having seconds thoughts, just remember its your dream and then take a deep breath and take the plunge, almost like getting into a cold pool. My dream is to become a professional artist but lots of people say I won't make a lot of money, and one of my friends even said I probably won't be famous until after I'm dead, but that doesn't stop me, and what people say shouldn't stop you either.

You are still a young lady, enjoy this time of your life. You will be grown up soon enough. If you want to go to the Naval Academy keep your grades up and work hard at your dream. Keep a balance in your life between school, home, and recreation. Life is what you make it.

There is nothing wrong with a woman going to the Naval Academy as long as they are willing to do a lot of hard work. That includes correct spelling when writing.

Yes, females should go into the Navy Academy. If thats your dream then there should be no reason why you shouldnt pursue it. When youre finished, your friends will still be there, and I'm sure you will make many new friends while youre there. Enjoy your life now as a kid and when the time comes, live out your dreams.

Of course you can go into the navy if that is your true dream! You can still just be a kid. I am 14 and I want to be a teacher. That doesn't mean I have to act like one. I am still a teenager. Go to a navy website and contact someone about it. May God Bless<><

be a kid while you can.....i personally think that trying keep women out of the military is a huge mistake..when something needs to be done, a woman will do to the best of her ability...if she feels someone that cannot protect themselves is being threatened, she will take action...but she will not blindly follow order that may get someone killed AND most women use both sides of their brain whereas most men only use one side, analytical or creative...women are much better suited for politics, religion, combat and mediation....maybe thats why we are kept out of things so much, because we are better equiped to run a country, after all, we run households

no thats not wrong! if you want to go to the naval acadamy then you want to go to the naval acadamy. just because you are a girl doesnt make it wrong to want to go. stick to your dreams, dont let criticism keep you from them.
