it passes on text like that :

"she will not leave it long before coming to visit her grandmother again."

does this mean that she will leave it after she visit her grandmother once again ?

or she will never leave it ?

or is it certain that she will leave it in sentence ?

i am confused :(
thanks.

That sentence construction is very odd. Normally, "long before" is not used in that context. Usually, it is used to mean a long time ago, as in "Long before my time, the Romans were building roads." Or, when someone asks when something happened, like the Civil War, you could say, "That was long before my time." Or something like "It happened long before I started working here." Or "It wasn't long before I got tired of you asking me for money." In your sentence, it sounds like she will not wait a long time before going to visit her grandmother again. But a native speaker of English would never use that sentence.

It is really a confusing sentence because of the way it is written. i think it means that she won't leave it for very long. Before coming to visit her grandmother again is saying that before to much time has passes she will visit her grandmother again. So as in to come and see "it" whatever it may be.

So say its a dog.

She will not leave the dog long. Before to much time has passes she will come back to visit her grandmother again. And that we can assume is where the dog is. So it's kinda like, it will not be long before she visits her grandmother and dog again.

Hope this helps because now I am a little more confused. LOL.

it means
she will not leve until before she´s going to her grams
the long means time a long time before doing the action
she will , way before going to her gams altough you can refuse that if she does´nt go to her grams she wont neccesarily not leave it
