Steak Sauce:
1 1/2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil, half a turn of the pan
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 small white boiling onion, chopped
1/4 cup dry cooking sherry, eyeball it
1 cup canned tomato sauce, 8 ounces
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, eyeball it
Black pepper

Heat a small saucepan over medium heat. Add oil, garlic and onions and saute 5 minutes until onion bits are tender. Add sherry to the pan and combine with onions. Stir in tomato sauce and Worcestershire and season with black pepper.

Montreal Steak Seasoning
2 teaspoons california garlic powder (probably any garlic powder, not garlic salt, will do)
4 teaspoons coarsely ground coriander seeds
2 tablespoons coarse salt (kosher or sea)
4 teaspoons dill weed
4 teaspoons paprika
4 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes (or cayenne pepper)
4 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper (coarse)
1 servings

1. Mix all& store in a glass container.

Montreal Steak Seasoning

Ingredients

1/2 ts garlic powder
1 ts ground coriander seed
1 1/2 ts coarse salt like kosher or sea
- salt
1 ts dill weed
1 ts paprika
1 ts cayenne pepper
1 ts ground black pepper

Instructions

Mix all ingredients.

HOMEMADE STEAK SAUCE

1 c. ketchup
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 cup of onion, finely chopped
6 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup white wine or tarragon vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 large whole shallot, chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried onion powder
1 tbsp liquid pectin
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
4 whole anchovies (canned)
4 large whole large mushrooms, fresh

Place all ingredients in blender container and process until smooth. Simmer in saucepan 20 minutes and cool. Store in refrigerator.

I"ve only ever seen Montreal Steak Seasoning Blend (McCormick has one).... have never seen the sauce. Anxious to see what this is!
