It's the weirdest thing. He had all the locks changed throughout the house and I cannot get in. He sent me a text message saying, "I'll call you later. We need to talk." Do you think I should call the police? What if he is inside dead?

If it your house, and you cant get in call the police right away... If not just call a lock-smith and they will come out and let you in, But he sounds like he doesn't want you around. Maybe you need to talk to him and see what going on and get into the house.

Honey, if he's inside dead, no loss. If your name is on the lease or mortgage, you have every right to get in the house. If you moved in with him & he's changed the locks to keep you out, there's nothing you can do about it. He's telling you to go away. I don't think the police can do much for you - they might try to talk to the guy to verify that he's okay, but if your name isn't on anything they can't get you in. Good luck - I hope you can get your stuff out. Oh, if your name is on it, you can bust out every window in the place & he can't do a damn thing to you. I should know - my husband changed the locks on our house & my atty told me that, those were his exact words - but that is only if your name is on it!

Oh-oh, sounds like you just got dumped and he was worried about you either taking or destroying his possessions. Try to get in touch with him so you guys can have "a talk". That was rude of him. I'm hoping that it is something else and this is not the case. I don't think he's dead inside. But call the police anyways and inform them that your belongings are in there and that you are worried about him. G-Luck.

Hi is a jerk. I don't think he is dead inside. The police can get you back in if your name is on the house too. If you are renting, you can get back in if your name is on the lease or rental agreement. Yes get the police so you can get your things. Has the moron called you to talk yet? Did he actually leave you without a place to go after you got off work? You can do better than him. Good luck to you.

Did you live at this house? Was this his house that you've been staying at? It sounds more like you are a psycho and he needed to change the locks to keep you out of his house. You have just been dumped. Time to move on.

I doubt he's dead, a murderer wouldn't have changed the locks or sent you a text message.
But he CANNOT legally throw you out or change the locks, even if you guys break up. If he wants you out and you refuse to leave, then he must go through a formal eviction process. If he changes the locks w/o such an eviction, you can sue him.

thats almost as bad a my parenets moved and didn't tell me were
police can't do anything but knock. You need to call him and talk but I think you relationship is over. I could be mistake with his subtle hint.

He's going to dump you. Just call a locksmith, leave him a note breaking up with him, take your stuff and leave before he has the chance to break up with you.

well if you own any part of the property u have a legal right to access the property. but if u dont own any part of the property then it looks like u just bin kicked out, soz.
