Try to drink a lot of water throughout the night and a glass before you go to sleep.

The best way to aviod a hangover is to stay drunk. haha. but seriously, to avoid hangovers ppl claim that they feel better after throwing up. This is probably because you are emptying your stomach of alcohol. Personally, I take Chaser Plus pill available at almost every Pharmacy. These pills work wonders and can be taken with alcohol.

One cause of a hangover is that the booze flushes your body of magnesium and B vitamins, so I always take vitamins to stave off a hangover.

The other cause is dehydration so I will drink a Pedialyte which is found in the baby section of every store before I go to bed. Between the vitamins and the Pedialyte this should take care of your hangover

My ritual is burnt toast, a multi-vitamin and lots of water before bed.

Here's why:

The carbon from the burnt outside acts as a filter to help sweep away toxins. (They use the same idea for victims of alcohol poisoning in the emergency room, except those people get a much more potent carbon mixture pumped into their stomachs.)
The bread helps to absorb some of the alcohol.
The multi-vitamin helps replenish vitamins A, B6, C, potassium, and others which are lost during alcohol metabolism.
The large quantity of water, necessary to down the vitamin and get the burnt taste out of your mouth anyway, helps with the dehydration.

You actually fight the three major causes of a hangover with this: acetaldehyde (the toxic by-product of alcohol metabolism), dehydration and nutrient depletion.

Cheers!

WATER!!! I know cause I just turned 21 this year so you know I had to have a couple of drinks. Drink it throughout the day I would drink at least 3-5 water bottles a day and never got hung over. So keep hydrated and you wont have hangovers

drink a glass of water right before you go to bed, ive heard eating bananas is good for hangovers but never tried it. When you have alcohol in your system NEVER take tylenol because it contains acetemophin, which when mixed with alcohol causes liver damage!

Prevention is best done by moderating the amount you drink. One need not get ****-faced. As for the cure, there are two main schools of thought. The first is that 'hangover' is withdrawal symptoms. We have all had the 'tooth of the dog that bit you' and seen results. I am more inclined towards the build up of acetaldehyde which is metabolic product of alcohol.

So the quick answer from me is. Moderation, delayed consumption, good hydration, ibuprofen, and time.

An aspirin or Tylenol the night before... plenty of water (just make sure you're able to get up in the middle of the night)... and if all else fails; a room-temperature Pepsi or Coke the next day.

drink water in between your drinking sessions so that your blood doesn't get to absorb all the alcohol content but gets washed away when you pee.

another tip is, try eating at least one small slice of cheese before going on a drinking spree. The chemicals in cheese will absorb the alcohol content so this will not really affect you too much...therefore, it will lessen your hang over.

Before you go to sleep, after drinking all you care to... DRINK AS MUCH WATER AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. Seriously, drink water until you are convinced you're going to drown. I guarantee no hangover the next morning.

Or

Take 2-4 capsules of Ginkgo Biloba and 2-4 capsules of Ginseng/Gota Kola before you go out drinking, and then drink water when you get home.

Do in this order:
1. Throw up
2. Drink 7-up (no ice)
3. Eat Lipton chicken noodle soup
4. Sleep 2-4 hours
If you do these things, you'll feel like a new person.
