If u put a crystal light packet into 16.9 fl oz of water then no. There should be at least 20 oz of water. If not the artificial sweetener take over some of the water. So, if you have more water which will not take from the taste of crystal light u will meet your water requirement, but really u should not drink more than two crystal lights daily, if dieting. U should mix it and have maybe 4 10 oz a day. That means that u will have only 2 packets a day. Hope this helps!!!

Have you looked at the label? No carbs, therefore it's A-OK on a low carb diet.
While plain water is best, for those who just won't drink enough of it, Crystal Light is better than most other options. You can also try some of the sugar/carb free flavored waters out there. A lot of companies are putting them out.

In spite what the commercials say, no, Crystal Light does not count as part of eight glasses a day.
Technically, one glass should have 8 oz. So basically if you have three of those 24 oz. bottles, that is more than enough to satisfy that requirement.

There is also some evidence that the flavoring helps you to drink more, while with plain water your thirst will be quenched sooner.
I know I will drink more Crystal Light than water.

The short answer is yes. The long answer is that there is some evidence that using artificial sweeteners throws off the body's ability to regulate blood sugar and your brain's idea of whether you are hungry. It is best to avoid artificial sweeteners if you are trying to diet. Unsweetened decaffeinated iced tea is a good alternative. That's what I'm drinking right now.
