Both your father and mother are legal in the US and she came to US on a visitor visa knowing that your mom and dad said that they would help her. After 1 year of living in the US and going to school her father tried to help her become legal but they was have to take a DNA test to prove he is the father DNA test came back he was not the father, now her mother a US citizen and refuse to help her, she is about to complete high school, what in the world should she do?

Are you saying that the father won't help or the mother won't help? Like as in the mother abandoned her daughter because she wasn't her husbands child. Is that what your saying? Either way, how old is the girl? She has been here awhile so hopefully she understands english. If they won't help her then she should apply for citizenship on her own when she turns 18. She has already been here, knows the language, and most likely a good amount of U.S. history. It may take awhile to do it on her own but if her parents are disowning her like that because of their mistakes then she really has no other choice.

DAR you miss read it both mother and father are legal. She could file in court to demand that the legal fathers name be given.long expensive road. Or she contact the ORR office of Refugee resettlement http://www.acf.dhhs.gov/programs/orr/ and They may be able to help. They help children to reunite and place them in childrens detaining center until everything is worked out.

The mother has no right keeping her real father from her. She is old enough now to be the judge of that. She needs to confront her mother until she tells her what she wants to know or needs to know. That simple, getting in her face everyday until the mother gives in.

Is there any way she can prove who her mother is? I'm not sure if that would help...but she may have a case.
People abandon their children all the time...it's a reality. Perhaps there is a group she can turn to for help.

Ship them all to the motherland. The girl, she is illegal in the first place, her mother is obviously a whore, she doesn't even kn ow who knocked her up, and her dad is retarded for being with a whore. They set a bad example of the kind of people we want here.

Her basis for coming in was that she was the child of a US citizen. If she isn't, she isn't.

The whole thing sounds very fishy to me, since if the mother really were 'the mother' I can't imagine her not helping.

I sense fraud here.
