V W TDI.
BMW has a good warranty for a new vehicle.
Audi makes a good car, Repair costs are lower than BMW for a used vehicle.
If you like Audi, look at VW, They are practically giving away the Phaeton (full size car with lots of luxury features). I've seen them 10K below sticker.

I would choose the BMW because it has more status. I mean, If a Audi & a BMW pull up together, the BMW will get more respect from the crowd.
If u arent looking at that angle, then just testdrive the ones that u are interested in & choose the one that is the most comfortable for u. Look at the features, the options, the warranties, the gas mileage, the interior comfort, etc. I think that the Audi may have the edge then but they are both good cars so it doesnt matter.
If it was me I would go for a two-door C-Class Mercedes.

Audi leads the pack in sedan designs but BMW has "the total package," featuring beautiful interiors and exteriors, great engines, maybe the smoothest six-speed manual transmission on the market, exquisite balance and excellent steering.

Check what you really need and test drive to see if they meet your expectations before you make your choice.

Depends on which series you are comparing.
3 series vs. A4
5 series vs. A6
6 or 7 series vs. A8

I like the A4s more than the 3 series
I like the 5 series more than the A6
I like the 6 series more than the A8
I like the A8 more than the 7 series (everyone has the 7 series)

Does it matter? They are both junk. You will need a lot of cash for repairs.
