when i am at work, my cats do that. doesn't seem to harm them. the vets say they are healthy. if i see it happen, i clean it up right away. maybe because it is partially digested, it seems to stay down the second time around. i feed them sensitive stomach/hairball control foods. i mix them and it seems to work. they don't throw up as much.

I always tried to clean it up before this happened, but sometimes a person is just too late. They will ususally eat it when it is primarily food in the vomit. I've never seen one eat liquid vomit. (I'm gagging just writing this).
Try moistening the dry food (if you aren't doing it already)

NO! She is vomiting because there is something that is not agreeing with her system and this is how they get rid of it. You do not let them reingest it as they will just bring it back up again.

NO! Don't let them do that. They will just keep on throwing up! You need to think of them eating stuff like you do. Would you do the same?

Yes, no problem. If it becomes a habit you may want to chance pet food.

lotsa animals do it...but next time maybe try to keep her out of it till you get it cleaned up...I mean she threw it up for a reason, maybe it didn't agree with her, or maybe she got into something she shouldn't have

No. Move the cat and clean it up. If it didn't stay down the first time it's not going to stay down the second time????????
