i want to lose weight well i already lost 11pounds not eating bread and pasta and cutting on carbs. i want to lose more weight. am 5'1 and weigh 147pounds now. i hear eating healthy thru out the day makes you lose weight to keep ur matoblism going. is it true? and i like to munch on banana chips and walnuts is that ok?

and i went to a natural path doctor. because am type blood o postive i cant have whole wheat or any kind of food with wheat in it. i can only eat certain foods.

Being a pre-diabetic, I can tell you a little about eating..
First, check with your doctor and find out what they say about a healthy weight for you. 147 does seem a little high for your height. I'm on an 1800 calorie diet, yours would probably be higher, although, you didn't include your age in this equation, so it's a little harder to give you more accurate info. Once you've talked to your doc, he/she can give you a better idea of what you need to do to accomplish your goals.
In 6 weeks, I have lost 25 pounds by cutting sodas out and drinking the diet sodas and water... Watch your sodium and your calories, and then your carbs. Remember, salt is not good for you.. I'm allow 3000 mg, or, 3 gm a day.. and, I rarely make that anymore.
Oh, and don't listen to people who call names, that's just showing THEIR ignorance.

eating small healthy meals throughout the day doesn't affect your metabolism really, but it will keep you from being hungry, and it will keep your bloodsugar from spiking which makes you desire carbs.
Not all carbs are bad, but remember to watch your fat intakes as you cut carbs.
As for the snakes your listed, nuts are a great source of protien and low saturated fat, but watch the calories (eating 3000 calories worth of nuts won't help you lose weight) also remember that banana chips are really just dried sweetened banana's which means a handful of bananas may have the same calories as eating Two or Three full banana's (more if they add sure to the chips)

It's true if you eat smaller meals thoughout the day (6 smaller meals versus 3 standard meals), your metabolism will keep at a higer rate. The banana chips are probaby not the best snack though (check out the link below). There are some alternatives that you can use for snacks. Don't drink any non-diet sodas either (if you do drink them frequently).

You better eat whole wheat bread. Since it has a lot of fiber and it won't make you fat. And to make you lost your weight faster, try to jog everyday. It will increase your body metabolism for the day. Don't eat pork, if you can eat chicken breast only. Boil it without oil nor salt, and don't eat the skin. If you feel hungry, eat apples. Do your best, okay ^_^ (with that method, i lost 30 pounds)

not sure if it is true. but also try to eat some rice cakes too they are good and will help you lose weight. rice cakes has no fats not that much carbs or none. and it says it is good for oyu when you are losing weight
