Can you afford it? Apparently so.
Sooooooooooo just call it a little luxury reward that you really enjoy. Nothing wrong with that.
For $975 you get a tremendous number of little luxury rewards every year, right?

Well since u go to the gym, just think about how many calories a drink from Starbucks has and you will change your mind. Instead, try some more healthy food...That's too much money for just a coffee (a year). I also like Starbucks, but is better to save some BUCKS and invest that money in something smarter.

I personally would consider it a waste of money if *I* did it daily, but then I smoke, and TONS of people consider that a waste of money (as well as a health issue).
If you enjoy it, and can afford it, that's what matters. If you are going without something more important, just to get your java fix each day, then you would need to think more seriously on the issue.
I make coffee at home, and it's also available when I get to work each day. I dig Starbuck's a lot, but it's an occasional treat for me, rather than part of a regular routine.
If someone wants to pay $4 for a cup of coffee, and it's worth it to them because they enjoy it and it's convenient, then I wouldn't say it was a waste of their money.

Up until Tuesday - no. Now I won't go near the place. My body has finally decided it can't take coffee except for Folgers Simply Smooth which is designed for people with stomach problems. Now, I won't drink anything but it so I guess Starbucks is now off my list of places to drop by in the mall.

When it's 103 degrees out, I would be willing to pay $975.oo for a mocha frappuchino. Too bad that whipped cream puts back everything the gym took off! Yummy!

It can be but it depends on what you really want that money to go into but I say Starbucks is not a waste of time I like it to and the waste of money also depends on the size of the cup.

Well, for one, all that sugar is countering your gym work if your goal is to keep the fat off.
I get the coffee of the day, without sugar and with soy milk. It's just a little over $1.

I agree it's soooooo delicious and so hard to resist! I've also contemplated this 'waste of money' but you know what? I've got the $5 to spend everyday, I enjoy my Triple Venti White Mocha so I'll indulge. It makes me happy and I like to be happy! I've even cut some of the calories in the drink by reducing the pumps of syrup...
Enjoy yourself and try not to over think it :)

Nope! I believe that Starbucks is a way of life! I reckon we have the same problem... I can't start my day without my latte and I always look forward to visiting my barista at Starbucks everyday...

I love Starbucks which is crazy cause I hate coffee. I get the Caramel Apple Cider, apple juice, half and half, cinnamon flavoring, caramel, whipped cream, mmm. Sounds gross but really good. My boss calls it the diabetic killer, lol.
