I woke up at 1:30 last night and lay awake thinking for 2 hours! I usually get up, go pee, have a drink of water then hop back into bed. Then, every time my mind thinks of work or something else I put up a big stop sign in my mind and focus on my breathing.

That's a hard one, You just have got to focus on something happy and positive. That may help. The last thing you what to do is get on those sleeping pills that Doctors hand out like candy. Insomnia is a bad feeling. I hope you get some kind of help.

I find, the best way is to write it all down on a piece of paper. Then it feels like you've got it all out your head, and you can sleep.

if you have an unresolved issure, get a piece of paper and follow these steps:
1. write down the issue
2. write down the cause
3. write down how you want it resolved
4 write down steps on how to resolve it
5. take the first step and break it into the smallest pieces possible
6. take the first small step and commit to do it first thing in the morning
7. go to sleep

Write down your thoughts, it helps. Then it will be on paper and not on your mind. Not being a smary pants here, that is what I have found helps me. Body is exhausted, mind is going ZOOM ZOOM!!!!
