I put it into my computer and it played then I tried to put it back in and it says blank CD. I put it into my portable player and it says error, what happened??? Please help

CD-RW's are also re-writeable so they are kinda dangerous. You should burn it into a CD-R instead so that it plays on the regular CD players. CD-RW wont play in most CD players, but CD-R will. Your computer might have deleted your songs, but I cant be too sure since I am not sure exactly what you did. They are not very reliable except for data storage.

cd rw's are not the most reliable
have you copied over this cd before
you should be able to rewrite on them quite a few times but sometimes they can become unreadable after a few times
and it can happen at a random moment like yours.

in some systems CD/Rw will not support .write it on CD-R
