once, and I was caught, and the reprimand was a good smacking plus utter contempt from my mother, we didn't ahve any money, and I acted on impulse not understanding that even 1 unit of currency was worth so much to her.
That said, I was a child and didn't do it out of spite or greed, but rather out of sheer desire for something I couldn't have, and did'nt understand why.
Kids will be Kids and not understand the value of money until they are older... but they should know right from wrong.
So perhaps no pockets money is a good reprimand.

NO, absolutely not. I saw the repercussions of someone disappointing my Mom and that was too unbearable for me.
My cousin used to steal money from my grandparents store and used it to "buy" friends. They found out and all that was said "boys will be boys"... at least my Mom punished him and he never stole again.

No I did not steal money from my parents before. They thought I was the one but I didn't!!! I'm so disappointed with them for suspecting me.

No, I have never stolen money from my parents. They give me enough money so I don't need to do that. It's wrong to steal, I would never do that.

No, I was raised with good sense and I know I couldn't deal with the after mass!!! the consequences would be deadly!!! Trust me My Moms don't play!!!

Yes :( i stole like 15 $ and i spent them on choclate and smokes coz i started smoking when i was a teenager ( bad me ) .. and they didnt find out till today

yes im not proud to admit it. i would steal whatever i could get my hands on and spent it on pot. ive done it several times and she knew. now i fell quilty and i know i dont want my daughter to steal from me. it was a crappy lesson for me to learn

No, I never did; but, my kids did it....ONCE. I made sure it never happened again. How low can you go?
