Just because life is treating you badly doesn't mean the world is falling apart. The world is doing just fine as are millions of people in it.

The world is falling apart because you let it. If you're talking about all of the war going on then you have to realize that it has been since Wo/Man were created. We're a flawed creature and have been doomed from the start. All we can do as humans is treat others how you'd like to be treated and eat, drink and be merry. Step outside and get a big breath of fresh air and be amazed at the joy of creation around you. You don't need Jesus to make you happy; what you need is self assurance that you're here and you're alive so you have some greater purpose like the rest of us. We all have these feelings but the key to getting over them is to realize that you have no idea what you were put here to do and neither does anyone else. Just life your life to the fullest, take some chances, and have fun. Pick your self up by your boot straps and take on the day.

It's easy to get overwhelmed. Life is so complicated, and sometimes it seems that the world is filled to the brim with sorrows. Maybe it is. But we're not expected to be able to solve all the world's problems at once. One person cannot do that.

What you can do is become determined to be part of the solution, never part of the problem. You cannot force other people to be, but you do have the choice of where you will stand. Be part of the team that is working to improve the world.

One step at a time. One step at a time.

There will be stumbling blocks, and you'll always have to face the apathy and sometimes outright hostility of the lazy, but don't stop. Make a difference, even if only a small one. Be part of what's good about the world.

Nope. Gravity still works.
Really how bad is it, how old are you, and where do you live. If it's just hard to get up this morning, get a big cup of coffee and don't read anymore of the paper until you get a grip.
If you have been feeling like this for 2 weeks or so and it isn't getting any better
Talk to your doctor about seeing a psychiatrist. Nobody has to suffer feeling this way.
If you really think you are going to hurt yourself go to an E-room. They will stop you and get you a doctor.
This presumes you are an adult in the USA.
I don't know what happens in other countries.
If you are a kid, find someone you trust.

Life itself is not to hate. Life is to be embraced.
No matter how bad you think things are, it's not the world that's falling apart but threads of your life have come undone.
We all experience threads of our lives coming undone at some point, But it's up to us to decide where we stop it coming undone any further. Then start threading our life back together.

The world is a mirror reflecting your thinking. You hate life, so you see that life hates you; if you love it, you will experience its love.
Please change the world by changing your thinking. Buddha says: Peace of mind is peace of the world.

We all have low moments and slumps in life.

Not to minimize whatever it is you're going through ... but things will get better.

Feel free to PM me if you'd like to "talk" ...

Sorry to hear this.

Have you considered committing your life to Jesus Christ?
He has the power to turn your life around.

For a brief explanation of the gospel (of salvation through Jesus Christ), see http://www.godsci.org/gs/new/essence.html

I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).

Cordially,
John
