My friend has got a huge crush on a guy. they've become quite close and i thought they were going to start a relationship, but they still are not. Then the guy told me he only liked her as a friend!! how am i ever going to say that to my friend??? she'll be heartbroken.

well i think you should hint but don't blatently say it and help her find a different guy so she'll get over him. i had a friend who liked this one guy for 3 years and he never realy responded so that's not really good.

Just tell her! The heart ache she feels now will be a lot less than she will feel later on. Or...you could tell your friend he needs to tell her how he feels because she is developing strong feelings towards him, that way you stay out of the middle.

you're her friend...she'll listen to you.
casually say it to her, like its not a big deal.
and dont forget to tell her that youre not sure if he was serious or not, like you cant tell if he was telling the truth.
