NO. I think it is getting out of control. The terrorists are winning at the moment. They have us in the palm of their hands. They make us shake when they want to. Stopping liquids from coming on the flight is not any sign for the end of terrorism. The terrorists are smarter and always one step ahead of us. The will figure out another way to scare the population of America. Its just the matter of when.

Depends on which security measures you are talking about.
Certainly some security measure (for instance, in airports)
should have been put in place since the 70's when hijacking
started to gain ... uh ... popularity.

However, no, I'm don't think the above justifies warrantless
searches, etc.

I think it's getting completely out of control. Now I can't even bring my water bottle with me anymore. Next we won't be able to travel with luggage and have to walk thru detectors naked. I'm all for security and safety, but this is getting crazy.
