i would suggest waiting until about 11 or 12 to do your hair.....just make sure you use a TON of hairspray to make sure it stays in place. my hair lasted over 12 hours on my wedding day. if it's done very well, you won't be able to tell there is a lot of hairspray ~~~

Subtract backwards from the 2PM to figure it out.
Example:
1/2 hour drive to the picture site, so that makes 1:30PM. Two hours to get make up on and get dressed. 11:30AM. 1/2 hour drive to and from salon. 11AM. One hour to get your hair done. 10AM. Make the appointment for 9:30-10AM.
Wait as late as comfortably possible to make sure you have it for the longest amount of time. Don't wash your hair that morning, wash it the night before to allow the natural oils to build up - it will help hold the style longer. Do any other pampering before the hair appointment - nails, pedicure, facial, bubble bath, whatever. So you may be starting at 8AM for other things, but not the hair.

When you are getting your hair done tell them they should make it last all day. I have started at 9am and went throughout the evening sleeped and woke up and my hair was perfect.
