With all thats going on in the world, every time some radical desides to blow up a plane, the first thing to happen is the moderate Muslim groups feel they need to appologise. I aprciate the guesture, but I feel they wish they could be seperated from theese loons in the public mind.
Anyone else feel like this?

Quran 109:11. Say : O ye that reject Faith!
I worship not that which ye worship,
Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship,
Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
To you be your Way, and to me mine

Yes I feel sorry for the 98-99% of moderates who do nothing but want to live there lives by fiitting in and causing no distress.
Shame the media will only show one side of the story. Muslims are human like everyone else, and have the same emoitions as everybody else. They feel hurt and anger as well that some idiots are using the name of their peacful religion to kill murder and maim.
I lost two friends in 7/7 and I know of no muslims who condoned the attacks or even agreed with the militant lines those murderers stood for.
Yes I feel sorry for the REAL muslims not murderers who hijack the name of Islam.

Um. the thing is. It's kinda hard to say "What is a moderate Muslim?" Is there such thing as a moderate muslim? I'm assuming here that the 'moderate' muslims are those who aren't terrorists and don't condone the violent acts of killing the innocents??
well, that sure isn't a Muslim act in any way. A true Muslim wouldn't kill innocent as vengeance. Because the Quran says killing an innocent is like slaying the entire of mankind.
But I do feel so sad when more trouble like this comes up, because it means I have to deal with more questions and nonsense from people who misunderstand Islam :(

Here's the problem: The Koran teaches that anyone who is not a Muslim is an infidel and must convert to Islam or be killed. Not even the Muslim leaders in America or the Koran scholars can argue this. There really is no way to separate the so-called "Moderate Muslims" from the terrorists because they both practice the same religion and essentially believe the same thing. These "moderates" aren't resorting to terrorist tactics to advance their political objectives and aren't killing anyone NOW, but the Muslim religion is spreading, and it won't be long before the Muslims outnumber Christians. What happens when that day comes if a call to Jihad is issued from Mecca? Can you say World War III?

I have moderate Muslim friends and I worry about them everytime something happens. In fact I worry about them most of the time. It's unfortunate that the armed minority of Muslims causes so much trouble for the vast majority...It's equally unfortunate that the majority sits on it's hands and allows this to go on...makes you wonder if there is truly a "moderate" Muslim at all. PEACE!

There are consistently those that are fanatical approximately their faith. that's unlucky that they are those that get out of control and have people who're grasping for money presenting the fire skill to reek havoc on others. That being mentioned, is it top for any skill to return to a decision what's democratic or no longer, or is it a query of putting protection rigidity foundation in that section for greater proper administration and get admission to to different worldwide places and a query of ways lots oil that united states of america has? Missionaries can lend help without advertising or inflicting their ideals on others.

I think it's always a shame when entire cultures are stereotyped according to one group. Muslims frequently get this, as do Americans (bush, fast food), Brits (bad teeth), French (stinky),ect.
I agree that this group in particular is taking some heat these days, I think it would def be tough to handle the suspicion on a regular basis.

Having some moderate Muslim friends I always worry for them after a terrorist attack as there always seems to be a wave of hatred towards them. The moderate Muslims aren't the problem, it's the extremists we need to worry about!

Absolutely. You only have to look at some of the "questions" and answers in the last few hours to see how some people equate ALL Muslims with the planned terrorist attacks.
It's so unfair.

Nope - not even nearly. You should read some books about what the Muslim "faith" is all about and then understand how little they value the here and now and are looking for what is in the "after life".
