In other words, did the supreme creator of the world impregnate a virgin to have his incarnation walk on earth?

Please defend your reason for this belief. If you quote the Bible, please specify the verse used.

Jesus being the only Son of God is a huge misconception. Don't get me wrong, I certainly believe that a man named Jesus walked the earth and was a Master of his religion, which he was a Gnostic. When the Bible was being formed, mind you it was the FIRST religion to be written down and documented, paganism was the most popular religion. So, they exaggerated this figure as being 'holy' and mystical, just like pagan gods, only here's a man that people saw and people could touch, who was just as "powerful" as pagan gods. Wow, so if we convert to christianity, many we can achieve this power and insight. See where I'm going with this? In the Bible, Jesus just disappears in his mid-twenties...what he ascended to Heaven?...no. There's actual documentation that he traveled east and studied with Buddhist and he learned Reiki...the art of healing touch. If you study Buddhism and Christianity, you'll see alot of similarities.

Jesus wasn't Gods only son...what people need to realize that we are all a part of God and he's a part of us. We each carry a 'Godspark', we each have the ability to be Christlike, and we are co-creators.

God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ. Through Him all things were created, the character of God is revealed, the salvation of humanity is accomplished, and the world is judged. Forever truly God, He became also truly man, Jesus the Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived and experienced temptation as a human being, but perfectly exemplified the righteousness and love of God. By His miracles He manifested God's power and was attested as God's promised Messiah. He suffered and died voluntarily on the cross for our sins and in our place, was raised from the dead, and ascended to minister in the heavenly sanctuary in our behalf. He will come again in glory for the final deliverance of His people and the restoration of all things. Aman John, The Bible IS the word of God. no matter if you want to believe this or no longer is yet another count number, it does no longer modify actuality. The Apostle Peter of all men had reason to believe this more effective than maximum. He were a warm head and had denied the Lord Jesus in the previous he replaced into crucified. yet after Jesus' resurrection Peter really knew that this replaced into the actuality as you could examine in his heart felt speech contained in the e book of Acts. indexed decrease than are some functional verses for you: 2 Peter a million 21 For the prophecy got here no longer in previous time with the help of the will of guy: yet holy men of God spake [as they were] moved with the help of the Holy Ghost. 2 Timothy 3 16 All scripture [is] given with the help of notion of God, and [is] rewarding for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for preparation in righteousness: Why did they vote about this on the Council of Nicaea? because even on the time at the same time as the Apostles were writing there have been all sorts of blunders getting into into the ecclesias/churches, a lot so as that those words had to be penned: a million John 2 22 who's a liar yet he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? he's antichrist, that denieth the daddy and the Son. a million John 4 3 and each spirit that confesseth no longer that Jesus Christ is come contained in the flesh isn't of God: and that's that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it truly is going to come back; or maybe now already is it contained in the international. You look to have a difficulty believing that our lord god can do astounding issues. have you ever actual examine the Bible by ability of thoroughly? conception and faith are necessary substances of the existence of a Christian. Open up your recommendations and think about the actuality of Scripture. that is in case you ever want to delight our lord god.

The Christian idea of a virgin birth is derived from the verse in Isaiah 7:14 describing an "alma" as giving birth. The word "alma" has always meant a young woman, but Christian theologians came centuries later and translated it as "virgin." This accords Jesus' birth with the first century pagan idea of mortals being impregnated by gods.

The Son of God refers to the Divine Human. God became visible so that we can see God.

God should be a spirit. A Spirit shouldn't act the way mankind does. God was invented by high Priests to keep men down or in.
Anyone is free to believe in...what suits him best, of course ; but look around...where is God to reform or punish ?
Don't belive in two categories : Priests and Shrinks!
Ciao...John-John.

Jesus was a figurative Son of God.

Those who realize their divine potential are called Sons of God. Those who do not (most of us) are called sons of man.

Its all just terminology, nothing literal.
