To my knowledge you can no longer GET terrorism insurance on most buildings insurance.
And your home insurance as a flat cannot be insured for terrorism. It has to be the buildings insurance which is for the whole block, and would be managed by the management company using your ground rent / service charge.
So, from your personal point of you, terrorism insurance shouldn't be an issue.

Suggest you talk to the bank you might want a mortgage from but as a former banker and now in business with a mortgage without terrorist insurance, I think you will find that terrorist insurance is not necessary for a residential mortgage.

Standard Buildings insurance is all you need for lenders (unless you are a flood area). Terrorism and acts of god are not covered on most buildings insurance policies. I have been to South East London, in fact I went to school there, I don't recall too many acts of terrorism lol.

Greenwich village is a impressive position to stay, in spite of the undeniable fact that it is intense priced. steer away from Woolwich because it is between the complicated, extra deprived elements of London. Dulwich in south London looks to slot all of your criteria, and it interior reason affordable (for London), being in south London. Bromley is likewise an astonishing position to stay, and being on the outskirts of London, will be more cost-effective than maximum elements of London.

You have to be worried these days that the whole of London could be Irradiated. Personally I'd move out to the country.

No, your insurance won't cover you for civil disturbance, acts of war, or acts of god.
