I am guessing that that is an exception, but it would certainly have to be searched. With what has happened in the last 24 hours, they currently are not letting anyone carry-on anything or any liquid. Baby formula is the exception to liquid restriction, so I imagine that diapers would be an exception to the carry-on restriction. You probably can not have a purse though.

It's not the bag, it's what's in the bag that they are concerned with. No scissors or sharp objects of any kind, nothing with a tank like a gas lighter, and usually you are allowed 2 pieces of carry on luggage per person. Personally, I would cut it down as much as possible. Take as little as you can get away with since half the time, if this is a vacation, you don't use or a lot of what you take anyway. Good luck!!

Yes, you can. Nobody bothered me about my purse the last time I flew, or my carry-on either. They were put through the scanner, of course, but there was no problem with them.

Yes you can....Just no liquids! They are saying pack as light as possible so going through security won't take as long.
Everything that you don't need on the plane should go in your checked luggage.
