I'm old. 38 years. I'm smart, but not genius. My family was super smart. I was sociallized to dislike average people, and only really enjoy teachers and those booky types. But I'm also acne-scarred and facially hairy and thin and not really tactful. I'm law-abiding mostly (I jaywalk!!) I'm shy, but I've had girlfriends. I'm very skeptical and science-minded: I wouldn't marry a devout religious person who believed most every word from the mouth of the church.
Good things: I'm great with kids. They love me. I teach overseas in South Korea. Girls like me a lot - but I've NEVER found an attractive one who wanted me, marriage, kids, and wasn't all thinking about god or gods, or who wasn't crying about her lost boyfriend. Once, I did, but she insisted on condoms and we had no joy in our lovelife. I said it wasn't working and we could have 'intimate friendship'and she dumped me. Can a person so picky as me find love? Will YOU marry me? If not, why not?

First of all brain man, God is with a capital G. Don't obsess on being a thinker. There are homeless trolls who think!
Be more of an outdoor hero type. Practice being HAPPY about whatever, then you'll be more balanced and you WILL definitely find someone.
Two people who are making a life together do NOT read the SAME books or share the same inner imaginations!
Stop hiding behind your own personal business and shine it on once in a while! Your true and NEW personality can then shine and that itself, my friend is BEAUTY! Someone will see your beauty and want to play in the sand box with you!
Keep your books, savor your thoughts and enjoy them but stop sending them out like a laser beam of judgment! For a THINKER you are currently acting very ORDINARY!!!

Why are you so picky when you consider yourself hopelessly flawed? Maybe you are so picky because it's an easy defense from being rejected by woman who you DO find attractive? I think it sounds like you have a really cool job, your educated and well rounded... there is someone for everyone. Maybe something like Eharmony would help. They match people based on their beliefs and wants... she may be right around the corner for all you know. Get out there and find her. There are tons of girls out there looking for someone to treat them well.... and contrary to popular belief, some girls dig geeks. Good Luck!

When you try too hard to find it you won't see it. Listen to your question your asking for an attractive girl to be more open minded
and try dating a guy who is considered a nerd and less attractive in your words when really you should try to be more open minded and try dating the girls you would not normally go for there could be something good there It's up to you to take the offer.
