Would most of us feel like we need to renew the war on terror or would we feel like thats what got us into this in the first place? Would we rally behind Bush again or would we blame him? Whats your opinion?

I can't believe any American could seriously blame Bush for terror in the UK.

How did we react after the subway bombings? What could we do in the first place? Maybe further tighten the relationships between MI5 and US intelligence organizations? I think the only thing we could do is work hard with our allies to find out who/what organization was responsible, and then take it apart.

By the way, I was traveling the world long before President Bush took office, and we always had to deal with the various wackos who hate the US, simply because the US is so much better and our people have so many more opportunities. Think about it. If some dude came through on vacation and had 100 times the money I had and was spending it on stupid souvenirs and such while my family was scraping by, I'd view him in a pretty negative light too. Sour grapes on a global scale.

You know whats funny, people believe that it is all bush's fault. Im not a super fan of bush, but this kind of hatred has been aimed at america for a very long time, well before his daddy was in office. What gets me is the people who say we should pull completely out of iraq and afghanistan, like that would make the terrorists stop hating us. They don't just hate america, they hate germany, italy, britain, denmark (all of europe) and any country that is not muslim. Lets face the fact the terror groups single out civilians, not military targets. Lets face the fact that these groups must be eliminated. Lets, for once, come together as a global community and put a stop to these religious fanatics that feel the need to disrupt the peace process. If it had been successful, i hope it would be the end for all these groups as we came full force and destroyed this threat.

I would feel like the dot heads got us into this mess in the first place and they need to get educated. Not all Americans are evil. Do you remember 911. Come on. They waged a war right on our soil. You know what Bush did? For better or worse he sent troops out and it was a great diversion. Or would you rather see more death on American soil. The bottom line is, we will finish what they started.

America being as it is a ally of the UK would of course help them all the way but Im Indian and I have total different views.
Who invaded a peacefull country? Who put millions of citizens into slavery? Who destroyed our historical structures took our
gold, silver and diamonds so the fat queen can have it? Who
killed innocent freedom protesters and massecred thousands of children in peace protests? Who finally agreed for peace but
gave India nothing but whats left of a war torn land and
never gave back the treasures they stole? Who killed millions in the course of 200 years? They even destroyed temples of
worship massacring the people inside. As Americans you
people would probably rally behind Bush because they
are allys of the British but as for me i would laugh my head off!!

More than likely our enemies would blame Bush and Blair. Now all they do is accuse one or both of them of "faking" the thearted plot to win the next election. To make matters worse, some would probably cook up conspiracy theories about it to blame the government so they can take the heat off our enemies like 9/11 conspiracy freaks love to do.

I am sure a majority of people would blame him. Blaming Bush has become a sport. People complain about the monitoring of phone calls and internet activity. These people lack the ability to understand that there is not someone on a phone extension listening into me talking with my wife etc...The people they monitor are suspects plotting events like the one that was prevented.

I am not sure what is going to take to get people to wake up. We are all at risk.

Britain was attacked on 7/7 because they were helping the US and you owe a lot to Britain because it was almost attacked again today. If it wasn't for British intelligence's thousands of US citizens would have died today

Bush and his decisions have made us less safe than before 9/11...

if you don't believe me..... try traveling to different parts of the world... and see the hate in people's eye when the hear you are an American!!!
you can't fight terrorism by bullying other people around..... we learned that in kindergarten!!!!

What did Bush do to cause all of the terroiest attacks that happened before he took office??? Huh?? Exactly, nothing because the attacks have nothing to do with Bush, it has to do with haterd for America, and the attacks will continue to happen no matter who is in office until we unite and do somthing about it.
