I ask this because my daughter and I were discussing drugs and their dangers etc. She asked me this question and I couldn't answer her. I think it's made from a plant but can't be sure.

Cocaine is derived from the leaves of the coca bush, found mainly in Peru and Bolivia. After being extracted from the leaves, it is then processed with various chemicals. Cocaine usually comes in the form of a white odourless powder called cocaine hydroxide.

To be exact cocaine is made from the coca plant's leave mixed with ethanol and hydrochloric acid. Im not gonna tell you the exact method (because i can't remenber), but you have to consider that 1000's of people live rely on this illegal trade!
