I know exactly what you are talking about as I would get one once a month either right before or right after my period. What you need to do is go buy some acidophilus. It can be found in the vitamin section say at walmart. Start taking it everyday for a couple months until your body gets used to it. This should stop you from having regular yeast infections. You can stop taking it regularly after a couple months. If you notice a yeast infection coming on then start taking it again. You may only have to take 2 or 3 at this point or until you notice the yeast infection symptoms are gone.
They are cheap and very helpful. This has worked for me as well as some of my friends. I can't say for sure it would help for you but it is worth a shot. My body contains a rare yeast that cannot be fixed by the regular meds they have over the counter. Diflucan doesn't work either. So I tried this and it works. No a days if I feel a yeast infection coming on, I pop 2 pills and poof I am better the next day.
Good Luck to you as I know what you are going thru.

The pill and the patch shouldn't give a yeast infection. My girlfriend tried the patch, but it kept coming off. it'd stick to her clothes and everyting. My girlfriend is trying a new thing called the NuvaRing and hasn't had any problems.

I got pregnant on the pill.... I have now been on the depo-provera shot since I had my second child and I have been very happy with it- just a simple shot every 3 months, and the best part is you dont get a period... talk to you doctor.

I have been ok with either the patch or yasmin pills.
Are you taking other meds that may be causing this? Any antibiotics?
