I work for an american software company with the R&D centre in India. While chatting with my peers in the US, I noticed most of them never repond at the end of the conversation when I say "bye". Is it wrong to say bye and how do u end a chat conversation

shouldn't a bye be replied with another bye to make sure that the conversation has ended from both sides?

Dear talk2me,

I work in CSR and Tech Dept. of a large software company also. I figure that saying "bye" is a bit informal and people figure out that you ended the conversation.
I suggest using something like "Have a good Afternoon/morning/evening" , "May you have many children and live a prosperous life"---OOps do not use this one. Or " Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance, Bye-Bye".

Best of luck,
Butzunake

Buy and read : Dianetics 55! You'll get a full answer to it!
"Bye" acts as a full stop on a chat, so the other cease it! When you want to "acknowl edge someone, but going on with the conversation, say : "good", "ok", "fine" etc., so giving the other the feeling he/she must continue on with it! Got it ?

Ciao.....John-John.

to respond to the first section-he does what he does with the completed chatting with different men on a chum foundation. that's no longer a lot that he would not believe you, that's more effective that he would not believe the lads. My husband replaced into style of like that after we were relationship. He well-known my guy acquaintances yet he under no circumstances depended on them. when I requested him why his reaction replaced into "i'm a guy i recognize how they imagine" all of us make blunders and it sounds like he screwed up too. you're debating confronting him yet in the previous you're attempting this, how do you sense about your boyfriend? Are you waiting to confront him understanding you could lose him over it? Is that what you go with? Or do you merely favor to be in a relationship the position you 2 believe one yet another. i imagine in some options per chance he did cheat on you and he continuously checks your telephone in part out of guilt of what he did. and that i'd be incorrect and per chance he has some intense believe themes. yet i imagine you should ask him. i could be curious. or per chance wait slightly to ask him and watch how he behaves round you. Is it distinct because that evening in question?

The nature of Instant Messengers (IM) is that politeness that is generally accepted in the traditional life is not usually practiced. You will find that many log off without saying goodbye, and some may not respond to messages. You are not doing anything wrong. It is simply the nature of the beast!

maybe once you say bye, they figure you left?
I don't say goodbye. It's a superstition I guess. If you don't say Bye, you will "see" the person again.

It's fine to say bye, and if they're not saying Good bye to you, they're being rude.

thats because when you say bye, they figure you are gone, therefore no response is needed, so if someone says by to you do the same.
