No he wasn't appearing as other religious figures because some of thoes Religions Pre Date Christianity....actually he was in Jail because he turned some oregeno into weed and was convicted of distrubution to minors. After he served out his sentence he started a gang which later came to be known as the 12 diciples...well then the rest is history isnt it.

There was NO GAP. Jesus DID NOT seems to dissapear for half of his life.
His days from 12-33 was accounted in the Bible.
He helped His foster father, Joseph, in carpentry. As the eldest child, He has the responsibility to help His foster father.
Mark 6:2-3 reads
And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
Is not this the CARPENTER, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
They wonder about Christ's knowledge because they are witnesses that Jesus is just a carpenter.
IF Christ appeared as Krishna or Buddha, their teahings should be in unison, but were not.

Well he wouldn't have been Buddha because Buddha lived in 500 BCE. As far as Krishna I'd doubt it because again it was before his time. I think it's possible he was in India, some teachings have a decidedly Buddhist/Hindu feel. It's also possible he was studying and learning his own spirituality. Keep in mind he was in Egypt for many years so maybe he was studying paganism and they didn't want to talk about it. It's one of those things that lots of people speculate and no one knows. I don't agree with the message about God but most people can agree with his message about getting along. Peace.

I believe he was working as a carpenter, living his life, but also in temple becomming a rabbi, learning the Jewish laws that the example of His life and Death would serve to amend. Why do so many people leave out the fact that Jesus was a Jew? He never had to be a buddah or a veda or the Krishna!

Your explanation of the gap in the Gospel narratives concerning Jesus’ developmental years is imaginative, however, I don’t think it is plausible. Keep in mind that Buddha, in the form of Siddhartha Gautama, preceded Christ by 500 years and references to Krishna in Indian antiquity occur well over 900 years before Christ.
I think there is two reasons why there is silence concerning Jesus’ teenage and young adult life. Number one, the authors of the New Testament, knowing that his ministry started in his late twenties to early thirties saw this as the most relevant aspect of his life from a religious point of view, and therefore decided to exclude most of the time period between 12 and 33 due to its theological irrelevance. Number two, since most of his contemporaries only start taking into account his accomplishments and his sayings after he embarks on his religious mission, they would not have known much about his childhood to begin with. This is common among most historical icons. Generally the information surrounding Napoleon, Alexander the Great, or other great figures in history is scant because no one cared to know of their exploits until after they made a significant contribution to society, which normally happens later on in their life.
Hence, there is very little information about most historical characters in regards to their teenage and young adult years, and much of exist is legendary embellishment.

According to the writings of Nicolai Notovich (1887), Janet Bock (1980), Holger Kersten (1995) and other researchers, Jesus and Thomas traveled to various centers of learning such as the libraries of the Essenes, of Alexandria and Ephesus and Persia during the ‘missing 18 years’ – and then ultimately to India, as seekers of available sciences and wisdom. In India, Thomas went to the south-west and studied. Jesus traveled north of the Indus and studied under Hindu and Buddhist masters. In the fullness of time, Jesus traveled to the south and, with Thomas, sailed westward across the Arabian Sea and then by foot back to Palestine, where the “ministry” began.

he was traveling
with his first cousin john,
who later was known as john the baptist
and lazarus, who jesus later brought forth from the dead
remember this:
when the magi came to visit
they brought with them very exspensive gifts...gold,frankincense & myrh...
these were the gifts of the christ child...not for his parents
some time around the age of 12
...shortly after the dialogue with the religious leaders
...jesus, john (a couple of boys)
and an older man...a relative...lazarus
proceeded to travel far and wide;
in particular to the area where the three wise men came from
i am confindent the magi came
from three different areas
and they met...following the star that marked the place where the messiah lay
it makes such good sense to me
not only did jesus travel far and wide
and take in all this esoteric knowledge and wisdom
john (later john the baptist) did likewise
.......in order for john to baptise jesus
who is/was The Master
...john had to have been an Adept
your question denotes a bit of inaccuarcy...i believe it should read: 12 to 30.....that is 18 years!
18 years of sucking in,
absorbing, realising
...asking questions
...possibly some of the same questions he asked the religious leaders when he was 12
indeed...when he returned to israel
for him...it was a diabolic time
...a time of fasting
...a time of temptation
...a time for consecration
...a time of baptism.
..indeed: he had enough knowledge and wisdom
all the kingdoms of the world could have been his
...he had amassed enough
...drawn as close to the Holy One as is humanly possible through: study,
research
and meditation
and jesus continued to draw even closer and closer throughout the remaining three and one half years of his life with the Holy One
18 years is a mighty long time
...just stop right here for a moment and imagine
...imagine just how far and wide jesus,
john and lazarus could have traveled in 18 years
...imagine the questions asked
and the answers given
...obviously he could not get the answers from the jewish relgious leaders
he had to go elsewhere and he had the finances to do this
to even travel as a prince with his attendants
perhaps that is why jesus teachings (notice i did not say the writings of paul or anyone else) are so universal
where it is recorded,
jesus saying, "love your neighbor as yourself"
......i am confident that what jesus' message was:
Love the Self
basic hindu
...self realisation
...complex reasoning for the traditional jew
...thus we have: love your neighbor as yourself
...and that is okay,
seeing how my neighbor is an integral part of Self
you conjecture that he was appearing in other places perhaps as buddha, krishna or other religious figures...possibly........however i do believe the questions he asked either affected other historical relgious figures or he was affected by the answers of the disciples or follower of these religious figures
there is no greater mastere than jesus
thank you for the opportunity to express my belief

Interesting idea, but why would he bother to appear as other dieties? Why not carry the same message to everyone worldwide, and prevent all the religious strife for millenia to come? Surely God was smart enough to realize this would happen?
Perhaps he was just dealing with who he was supposed to be. Imagine if one day somebody told you that you were the son of god. It would take you quite a while to get used to it, wouldn't it? Or perhaps this is just another one of the many failings and inconsistencies of the Bible. Make your own judgment i suppose.

Highly recommend the novel "Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal" by Christopher Moore. Ok. So it's fiction. But it's as realistic answer as you are going to get at this point. Besides, it's a great book!

But I don't think anyone is sure, coz if they were that would have been written. most of them just guess or some some assumptions
