All humanity is now involved in a great controversy between Christ and Satan regarding the character of God, His law, and His sovereignty over the universe. This conflict originated in heaven when a created being, endowed with freedom of choice, in self-exaltation became Satan, God's adversary, and led into rebellion a portion of the angels. He introduced the spirit of rebellion into this world when he led Adam and Eve into sin. This human sin resulted in the distortion of the image of God in humanity, the disordering of the created world, and its eventual devastation at the time of the worldwide flood. Observed by the whole creation, this world became the arena of the universal conflict, out of which the God of love will ultimately be vindicated. To assist His people in this controversy, Christ sends the Holy Spirit and the loyal angels to guide, protect, and sustain them in the way of salvation. (Rev. 12:4-9; Isa. 14:12-14; Eze. 28:12-18; Gen. 3; Rom. 1:19-32; 5:12-21; 8:19-22; Gen. 6-8; 2 Peter 3:6; 1 Cor. 4:9; Heb. 1:14.)

The second coming of Christ is the blessed hope of the church, the grand climax of the gospel. The Saviour's coming will be literal, personal, visible, and worldwide. When He returns, the righteous dead will be resurrected, and together with the righteous living will be glorified and taken to heaven, but the unrighteous will die. The almost complete fulfillment of most lines of prophecy, together with the present condition of the world, indicates that Christ's coming is imminent. The time of that event has not been revealed, and we are therefore exhorted to be ready at all times. (Titus 2:13; Heb. 9:28; John 14:1-3; Acts 1:9-11; Matt. 24:14; Rev. 1:7; Matt. 24:43, 44; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 1 Cor. 15:51-54; 2 Thess. 1:7-10; 2:8; Rev. 14:14-20; 19:11-21; Matt. 24; Mark 13; Luke 21; 2 Tim. 3:1-5; 1 Thess. 5:1-6.)

First of all Nostradamus made a lot of mistakes. He was close, but no cigar. If I am correct 2000 was the big kicker, wasn't it.
But in answer to your question, this world will come to an end, the Bible tells us that it will end but not before some things happen. There will be the Rapture of the Church. Very soon after that there will be a covenant of peace with Israel made that will be for seven years. This agreement begins the Tribulation.
2 Chronicles 15:3-6 Is a picture of the world with out the Holy Spirit, the Church and the Law. The Bible speaks about the battle of Armageddon. The Bible also talks about a some countries, that will be involved Persia, Gomer, Togmar, Ethiopia, Libya. Do you know that Persia is modern day Iran. Gomer is Germany and Togmar is Turkey. It talks about a country with an army of 200 million. China is the only country that has that kind of Army. It talks about a country with 7 mountains. Rome is the only country that has 7 mountain peaks that can be seen.
A little scary... You have a choice to make. To believe in the Bible or not.

Do yourself a favor, check how many times the end of the world has been predicted, just this past century (and how many times it really happened... yeah, none). Someone who really wants to find signs for the end of the world (or anything else) will find it. Because the signs are always so vague. But it is always enough to fool some people, some will even get rid of all of their earthly possessions (like their house) because, who needs it in the afterlife?

Of course it's going to come to an end someday. The Sun is going to expand and engulf this Earth in flame. *shrug* What are you gonna do?

Now whether or not human life comes to an end far before that depends on our ability to learn restraint and wisdom. If the world is going to come to an end through Divine intervention, so be it, but I think it would be a darn shame if we contributed to the fall of our own civilization.

Everything that is "born" has a death or change. So yes the world will end someday.

Why worry about something you cannot control? Why not just live your life and have a great time doing it?

The end of the world will take care of itself. Death is just change into something better.

Our current circumstances are pretty rough, aren't they..... God only knows when. As a Christian, the bible does prophesy about some things near the end of times, but one verse comes to mind, "no one will know the hour which the father cometh." So be prepared as the rapture will be unexpected.

Everything has a lifespan. Yes, the world will one day come to an end...oh, let us say in about 4 to 5 billion years.

We are not at the end times. Once you die your world will end.
