I think that's kind of sweet. He obviously enjoyed it, and he's being grateful for it. If t bothers you, next time you're home (at a non crompromising moment, or position) just kind of bring it up. Ask "honey, you know how after we have an amazing tine in bed you always say... I think that's so cute, any particular reason you do that?" maybe that will open up a conversation about his feelings, or he'll notice he's doing it and stop himself in the future. Sometimes they don't realize what they say/do while in their little moment. Above all, if it's something that you can live with and you care about him, just go with it. Remember that wierd sex is better than no sex, and it's better to be appreciated and said thank you to than to be completely ignored by someone who just rolls over and passes out.

Many guys dont know what to do or say after sex. Cuddle, talk, smoke ...etc etc. This I bet is a very new relationship. Chances are the guy will feel much more free with you as the relationship evolves and stop thanking you and maybe feel confortable enough to cuddle and or God forbid cuddle and talk : )

Sounds kinda strange to me. I'd feel weird if I were in your shoes, but maybe he's just being polite and letting you know he had a good time.

That is strange but once I had incredible sex with a guy during a really tough time in my life when I was full of insecurities about my appeal to men and my appearance. His passionate attentiveness was a tremendous boost to my fragile ego. I needed that bad at that time. So, I told him thanks. He didn't know how our decision to share our bodies with each other had helped me in other areas in my life. That's kind of weak on my behalf but it's true.

It sounds like he is mindful of the fact that you *are* giving him something special every time you allow him to be physically intimate with you, and that he was raised to say thank you whenever somebody gave him something nice. =)

He's showing appreciation without being boorish.
Unless its like, "Hey, thanks, see you tomorrow, same time?" in which case it might be that he's using you for sex.
Flip a coin or take the nicest option.

strange but most probably he means well- why dont you reply "you are most welcome" and give him a kiss on the tip of the nose/on forhead/lips. this way he will realize that his remark is unusual.
hey, i hope he is not at yahoo answers...
