If you were going to purchase something & the price was $1 but an environmentally friendly product of the same nature was $1.07 would you pay the extra for the enviro one?
And what if the products wer like $1000 and enviro version $1025?
Its for my course.

generally yes I would pay a bit more for a enviro friendly product
as for the later comment about buying local I agree with that also I would much rather buy from my neighbor and support his/her business than to buy some mass produced product from somewhere overseas.....or even across the country
the problem being is that it seems that grocery stores would rather transport cheaply produced food from Brazil or where ever than to invest in local farmers what they don't realize is that by not investing locally you're driving away your main sourse of income through lack of work. As for the communist comment communisn is actually in theory the perfect system what comes in the way of this system is human greed and in the end everyone isn't getting treated the same and seeing the same benefits and whatnot as those that are in power see.

ok there is are very few things that can be classified as environmentally friendly products... because the nature of "PRODUCT" means something that will be consumed and consuming anything isnt environmentally friendly...

organic food is the only thing that comes to mind...

so-called environmentally friendly cars are not really that friendly because they were made with materials that came from the earth

IF environmentally friendly products were equally accessable (often they are harder to find) I MIGHT select some things but it would depend what - in general I am environmentally friendly because I consume LESS than most people

Yes I would pay more for an environmentally sound product. I just purchased a toyota prius recently which was about $5000 more than other cars I was considering buying, because it is environmentally friendly!

What you meant was, would you pay MORE for an EF product?

Yes, I would and I do. I feel that the marginal increase in price offsets the destruction from buying the cheap stuff.

In some cases, such as this, I think it is worth the extra little bit of money. Think of it as an investment in the enviroment for future generations.

No, but I would pay the extra price for something made in the USA vs something made in China.
Why support communsism... The money we send to china goes to the chinese government. not the workers.
