Yes I have, but it does not seem that I have had much success. I came close a few times I think. Once I brought my (then) roommate with me to a spaghetti dinner at my Bible study leaders house and he later became a Christian because of meeting the Bible study leader. Also I met a guy while we were both having a smoke break and I invited him to a pizza party sponsored by the same Bible study I just mentioned. I introduced him to the Bible study leader (same guy), but never heard from him since. I would like to at least think some seeds were planted. There have been other efforts too, but it would take a while to mention them all.

No to the first, God does that.

Yes, to the second. I have been the god parent for about 15 adults. I didn't convert them, they decided to become Catholic and sought me out later to support them. My religion is Love, so advising people to be loving and caring is advice based upon my religion. Trying to bring peace to warring people is the goal so I try and create a just and fair peace.

I don't try to convert people, I'm an atheist.

I answer questions to the best of my ability & knowledge, but I don't know if you could consider that "advice."

I don't really care what people choose to believe, so I have no motivation to advise them to do anything as relates to religion.

yes and it usually turned out bad. I have found that adopting an attitude of being helpful to people and helping them where their at now and not worrying about 'getting them' works a lot better. If they are interested in a different way of life, I've set a fine example.

I've not tried to convert someone, but have found myself in a position of defending my faith more than once, which I think of as a challenge to improve my knowledge about my failth and my church. Given advice? I have answered questions and given advice.

I dont convert people, if they want the truth they can read the bible and find out for themselves as to how things are and are supposed to be.

If someone has asked I will gladly give them of the knowledge that I know. If it helps them choose the christian path I give credit to God. FOr I am a tool for god to use for His purpose to spread His words.

Absolutely, but don't be conformed to the world, but renew your mind..
: Jesus said:1Peter4:3,, For you have spent enough time in the past doing what PAGANS choose to do---living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. They think its strange that you do not plunge with them into the same flood of dissapation, and they heap abuse on you. But they who is ready to judge the living and the dead. will be judged..

Hell yes, all the time! I am a religion of one, and I have all the answers. Come to me and believe in me and I promise that you will save 10% on your income taxes, providing that you give me 10% of your gross earnings.
