I don't know. I know I am suppose to say, yes of course he would. But, I honestly do not know!
Who knows what is going to happen to the people (that survived) who are responsible? God has a way of taking care of his own and hopefully those that died were children of God. If so, they are in a much better place than we are right now.
Very good question. :)

Gandhi said an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. I think Jesus would have agreed with this, given that while he spoke against the Romans, he encouraged people to use non-violent means to stand up to them.

Will America's actions following 9/11 bring peace to the world? I would argue that our "defending ourselves" in Afghanistan and Iraq have made it MORE LIKELY that my daughters will live in an even more violent world.

Jesus would have demanded us to respond to a terrorist attack, with faith, love, and wisdom.

(btw: Jesus was very political. Who is lord, Caesar, Herod, or Jesus? Who is the Son of God? Caesar or Jesus?)

It would probably have been a more effective means of combating terrorism. All we are doing now is creating conditions in which terrorists thrive. Think of it like this, when you were in school, if you were smaller and weaker than the bully, would you fight him fairly? Probably not, you would do whatever it took to get rid of him. That is the frame of mind these people are in, and that is how they view us. If we had simply refused to attack, we would have probably removed alot of the wind from their sails.

turning the other cheek applies to inconvieniences and humiliation the examples were shirt off your back and going an extra mile

a life threatening situation or harm to an innocent... different story.. and these dont apply as is

my guess is Jesus would probbaly want the redeemed to pray for the terrorist to turn from evil and repent of their evil ways and come to the real God

Jesus would turn ten cheeks. But that's why he is dead. And if he comes back, we'll kill him again.

Jesus was not involved in politics in His day (other than telling people to pay their taxes) so there's no reason to think He'd be involved in politics if He were here in the flesh now.
