Do you find that since the unfortunate events of 9/11 and the illegal Iraq war, we as a people are being branded with the same brush as those who commit these atrocties?

After all it's not only Arabs/Muslims that can be terrorists.

What about the IRA
Or the mad man who set off the bomb in Oaklahoma City

I am Muslim American and my husband is from Palestine. We live in a very 'country' state and alot of people do discriminate. I don't know why people can't just let other people live their lives.

Unfortunately, this happens. The mad man who set off the bomb in Oklahoma, was exactly that mad. The 9-11 events were done to hurt USA. It seems to me that when the Marine barracks got bombed in Beirut, alot of Muslims in California were happy about it. I recall a party in a Mediterranean Restaurant and left abruptly. It is scenes like this, that we don't know which Arabs we can trust. Allot of people died to protect the rights we have in this country, Those people died to protect your rights too!
God Bless the U.S.A.

Its always tough to be a minority/weaker/lesser # in any situation. When push comes to shove you are absolutly right that anybody can be terrorist but....

It's the media we can blame for this disallusionment. People need to have bad guy, a terrorist, a bad group....like the movies. It goes through phases so don;t worry...russians, arabs, germans, (use your imagination)

In order to fix this problem you need to first convince people that people who are different cultures are like them. How could you hate yourself. Most people in this country can't tell tthe difference in look between a mexican, arab, indian, spanish person. Or between someone from japan, phillipeans and or china. There are differences but these people are grouped typically in the same groups.

You can help by being an example as someone who is tolerant and educated of all cultures. Good luck buddy.

im glad you appear not to be inline with those scum of 9/11. but you must understand,if my son were to be attacked buy by a bunch of skinheads he is naturally gonna be wary of and even dispise all skinheads.its only natural reaction.not correct of course as theres good and bad in all beliefs religions cultures.but i miust admit if i get on a plane i dont want my children to be on a plane that has an arab, muslim on board.sorry dont trust none of them.and are you being tarred with the same brush,of course.you as a people need to root out these scum. after all you are more likely to speak there language than i am. publically condemn them.not run around london calling for the heads[literally] of so called infidels who draw cartoons of someone who if he ever existed died 2000 years ago.dont mean to offend but the muslim faith if thats what you are is prehistoric and barbaric .just my oppinion.

In Australia we just had one of our cricket Commentators dismissed for making a slip of the tongue comment about an Arab cricketer being a terrorist. So is this the same brush you talk about? or generalisation of your race?
I have written about terrorists in my web pages defining what they are and who they were. I cited Robin Hood and the French Resistance as being terrorists in their time with conclusion that one man's terrorist is another man's hero. In my view when a person kills another person they are not a terrorist but a murderer, which without repentence are condemned to hell by the word of God. Recently the actor Mel Gibson made the inference that Jews were (terrorists) warmongers. He is misinformed and according to an ABC broadcast about the Protocols of Zion the whole Arab world attributes the Protocols to the Jews. Every Arab should check my website out to find the truth about the Protocols of Zion and who the author was.

Allah said in the Holy Quran:

[1-105] It is never the wish of those without Faith among the People of the Book, nor of the Pagans, that anything good should come down to you from your Lord. But Allah will choose for His special mercy whom He will for Allah is Lord of grace abounding.

[1-120] Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with thee unless thou follow their form of religion. Say: "The Guidance of Allah, that is the (only) Guidance," wert thou to follow their desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee, then wouldst thou find neither Protector nor Helper against Allah.

Yup!
You all should not be branded. But there is sth you all have in common. A sense of mystery and suspicion when you wear the tudong or bear long beards. Maybe you all find it as a tradition and religion but others find it different.

It is all politically and they are blaming onto religion.

By branding freedom fighters terrorist, the killer can think that the killing should be less painful and justified. The killer is not considered the murderer and he can sleep well.

Yes not all crimes are from Muslims.
But please explain the Koran where it says "kill the infidel"?
No other religion teaches violence as a command.
