This is Serious question plz ! This is name of a boy and is supposed to be the word from HEBREW language and was the name of a prophet PBUH of old ages.

In Hebrew, there is the name "Yermiya" or "Yermiyahu", which is also the name of a prophet. The name Jeremiah is derived from it.
It means "Appointed of the Lord".

It comes from the Hebrew name "Yirmiyahu" ("Jeremiah" is the Roman form).
Yirmiyahu was a very important prophet and his name means "God has uplifted" in Hebrew.
