He was my ex but by word only. We had not gone through the legality of it yet.
As I knew he had cheated many times, I found his favorite spot to bring his "ladies". One day, I couldn't help myself as I knew he was with someone again and I no longer wanted him to come home again. I had had enough. Soooooooo - I took a shoe box, in it I put a fried, schriveled hot dog and glued it to the inside bottom of the box. I gave myself a little haircut and glued the hair to the top of the hot dog. I used a couple of walnuts, glued them also with a little of my hair. Next, I sliced the hot dog going at different angles, just enough to show the slices. I put a bandaid on the opposite tip of the shriveled hot dog, and used a little low melt glue to ooze from the bandaid. As I knew where his car was and I had a key, I placed the box on his car seat. I certainly got my point across.
Also, as we were still together, I found that he also had a another residence, soooooooo I decided that because he "disappeared" again, he wasn't living home, sooooooooo, I sealed up his closet with many, many boxes of moth balls. I duct taped the closet doors shut so the smell would of course "save" his clothing. Next, I totally removed the bedroom furniture, the room was empty, so that when he thought he would be back, he had no "back" to go to.
I know it was dumb, it was in my younger days and my thought was that I was fighting for my husband whom I loved.

Went to the adult novelty store, bought an inflatable sheep, filled it with helium and tied it to the antenna of his work truck (tied little tube of KY below it). He came out from his construction job and found that thing floating there and the guys had a field day with him. I think a month later they would still ask him how his special friend was and go "BAA" to him as they walked by, lol.

Agree, get over them. Being happy and showing how much better off without them you are is always the best revenge!

My X ran off with her bald boss who looked like Uncle Fester.
Two months after our divorce was settled, I sold my greatest IDEA to the D.O.T. of California.
I E mailed her the press release, from a beach side hotel she always wanted to go and sent it to her TRAILER home in El Monte, ending it with, "thank GOD you aren't here!"
Success and happiness my friends, the BEST revenge EVER!

Don't try anything. It just makes things worse. You never know if the person you are doing something to is more crazy than you. You could seriously get hurt. Just let it go and move on.

I had the keys to his apartment and went in when he wasn't home and dialed the date and time phone # in Sidney Australia and left it repeating. He was gone for two days. His phone bill was 3 times what his car note for two months was. This got him really bad because he was the world's biggest TIGHT WAD!

unintentional revenge is the only revenge that I have ever wrought.

That's done by getting drunk, hooking up with them and then not calling them...ever
