What Jesus is doing?
All the answers are mentioned below.
1.ARCHITECT JESUS!
Jesus is building a Mansion- a bunglow for us.
JOHN 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
2. ADVOCATE JESUS!
1 JOHN 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world.
2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
3.HIGH PRIEST JESUS!
Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession.
4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.
4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
4.King of Kings- Jesus, Lord of Lords –Jesus:
Revelation of Jesus Christ 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
19:16 And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
5.Jesus the creator
3:9 And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
And many other roles like this
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
9:7 Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end.

I believe Jesus Christ is sitting at the right hand next to the Father.
Matthew 11:27
All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
The Lord will send his back to earth at his appointed time.
Mark 13:32
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
God will call the alive and dead believers to heaven before the Great Tribulation.
1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1 Thess 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Thess 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thess 4:18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

According to the Bible, Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father acting as the priestly intercessor for all believers. God does not sleep, and Jesus is God, the third person of the Trinity. Because all persons of the Trinity are co-equal, he is therefore God. His duty is not an assigned duty, but is inherent with his nature. All members of the Trinity are in complete agreement with one another, meaning that they never disagree on anything. They are not like sinful humans that can never agree on anything and must rest because of their sin. There is no sin in God; therefore God never sleeps. Sleep is a characteristic of a sinful lifestyle. Since we humans are born in sin, that is we are born with a sinful nature, we require sleep.

Jesus thought he was a messaih, and so did many many others in all religions,(like moses, zarthustra, krishna, buddha, prophet mohammed ) if you look at it practically, it is better to find a contemperory, or a living person with similiar wisdom.
Otherwise you can wait till the end of days for a dead man to come back. I opologize if I hurt anyone's sentiments, but this is what a feel. Thank You.

Jesus is in heaven right now, he is not appearing on a tortilla or a side of a building anywhere. In heaven Jesus sits at the right hand of God and only stands to welcome one of his followers that's been killed for his name sake.
He is not sleeping...he is always watching you and everyone else because he loves us.

Jesus, who is the 2nd person of the Holy Trinity is one with the Father and the Holy Spirit. He is God, as is the Holly Spirit, and the Father indivisible. This is hard to coprehend with human mentality, but this is the way it . We, as Catholics, believe this wholeheartedly.
