I've had it done.......to me. Yep. Nice cowardly exit. It makes you feel like you weren't worthy. (for about 5 seconds) Then you realize that they were the one that just didn't have the courage to communicate. And you go on.....having learned a life lesson.

No, but I once ended a relationship over the phone, which went really awkwardly, so I sent her an email to explain myself more clearly and pay her some compliments so she didn't feel too badly about being broken up with.

I once ended a friendship through email, but we had been not getting along for a while.

DON'T break up through email unless the person's a jerk. Emotions don't always come across very well in that format and it's easy for him/her to misunderstand where you're coming from. Better to talk it out so the other person isn't left thinking, "what happened?!"

Nope, but I've been dumped by email. It's not like it was a long-distance relationship either. We were both in high school and I was a phone call away. It made it worse because I was able to print it out and read it over and over again. Being dumped for the first time (ever) in an email is particularly cruel.

I somewhat have in no way stayed acquaintances with an ex, specifically by using fact i replaced into too injury and it replaced into too painful for me to proceed seeing them. the only rationalization why i could attempt to maintain an ex as a chum replaced into if i presumed there replaced right into a gamble we ought to be together in a while down the line. you need to give up and think of, those 2 human beings have a history. on occasion it rather is extra durable to enable pass of the previous and pass on for some human beings. She for sure did not have time mourn the loss and technique her emotions till now leaping right into a clean relationship.

Only one that was totally via email. If you have had physical contact with the person, be a man and step up.

I did because she lived in California and I lived in Ohio. It was an Internet match up, but was not able to continue because I was not moving to California. Her kids (2) were grown and my kids (4) ages ranged from 8 to 20. I was not leaving my kids because, they are my world.
