They're ok if u dont want to do ur hair for a few weeks but dont EVER get glue in because it could take out ur hair...make sure u get sewn in extensions....they last longer and ur hair is braided up so that ur hair can grow quicker=D

What a wonderful creation. Hair extensions are the equivalent of makeup or a padded bra. They create an illusion. If a person chooses to wear hair extensions and feels good about themselves while wearing them, I say go for it. Hair extensions are lifesavers for a lot of people. Stars swear by them. They claim that the extensions protect their natural hair because of the rigorous schedules that they have undertaken. Whatever the reason, some hair extensions are beautiful and some are quite unbecoming but it's a matter of choice. I have never worn hair extensions but I would not say that I never will. Right now, I've got a head from of hair and I'm contemplating cutting it very short...but tomorrow I might want hair down to my butt. It's nice to have a choice.

I have being wearing hair extension for a few years as i have fine and slow growing hair.
I use the micro ring method which is a small ring which is placed next to the scalp and a piece of hair is inserted ( one end looks like a shoe string) and then clamped down with pliers.
I have found this method the best as i have tried glued, sewn in ones.
Just make sure you get top quality hair and see a few hairdresser who do extensions and ask your questions to them.
Good quality hair for the micro ring method should last about 12 months

I think that they usually look terrible. Just stick with your short hair and let it grow out naturally. Get a wig! Hair extensions never look good unless you're Paris Hilton, and even then it's debatable.

Only for a little while..and only if you really need them. They're bad for your natural hair, and can damage it badly...no matter how good they're put in. I strongly advise against it!!!
You can also use some nice clip in pieces (rather than the glue stuff) to get a good one-night look.

Good ones doen well that are not detectable are great. Look at Ashley Simpson. Be careful and let a professional do it. Try to avoid glue because it can cause damage to your hair.

They look good, but they have go to STINK after a while and they are VERY expensive to get them in.
It takes about 5 hours to have them put in.
