why would you sign your rights as a parent over to the state and give up on your child in the first place?

wow ,your messed up,no matter what he did you turned your back on him and gave your rights away,do you know how much hate he has for you now,hes 16 he can be emancipated and be considered an adult, even so your foul, you cant ba a parent dont have kids, your kids are what you make them, and learn mostly from you, maybe its you the dhs should have taken from your kids, really really wrong of you,he couldnt of been that bad if you want him back so in the parenting department you get a negative 20,good job dummy

If you wanted the boy home you would not have asked such a question...you would have welcomed him back and let the authorities make the next move...you must have your reasons to have given up your rights and not allowed him back...this is a case for child services to handle...unfortunately it will get worse before it gets better.

tell him to go back and wait until he is 17 at 17 if he has a stable job and proof that he can take care of himself as in car and home he can go to court and they will let him move out on his own provided they are allowed to check in on him after a year has passed he will be completely free to come and live with you

and don't listen to others who said you abandoned him, it was either lose him , or all of your boys, you did the rite thing

first of all i would never gave my rights up on my children,if i had to i would work two jobs to support my kids. and what cause him to go to foster care in the first place. i guess i just loves kids so much that i don't understand why other people just signs there rights away on there kids, or just give them away like they are nothing, because there is some people that just can't have kids on there own it is really sad for them, then other people just have them and give them away

That's messed up! If it was me I would say screw the state and go get my boy! Even if it means moving out of state you could not keep my kids from me!

If you were worried for him, you wouldn't have signed him over and abandoned him in the first place.
