Do street cops in Britian get to carry guns yet or still billyclubs ?

Its been years since I've been there. Back then it was only the special ones that carried arms !

Majority now wear body armour carry batons,chemical spray occasionally tazers,but no side arms

Never been there,but if I were a cop( and I aint)weather it be Britian,Egypt,or out in some desert,you can bet your @ss that their would be one cop out their with a snub nose 38 stuck down in his boot.

I was there in November and they seemed to be carrying big guns. Especially in front of parliment.
