I played sports for years and it begining to crack and get sore if I exert myself at all. I know all I need is an x-ray to determine the problem, is there any way I can arrange an x-ray without paying a doctor to refer me or wait for hours in A & E, I'm in Rep. of Ireland. Thank you for any suggestions.

You have to see a doctor to get an x-ray ordered.

The doctors referral is kinda the minor part, I think you gonna have to see a doctor the analyze the x-ray for you.
