Sore feet, poor pay, rude boss, lousy major medical insurance, long hours, competitive nature of job, lack of appreciation of co-workers, lack of position/status amongst co-workers and/or complaints about the need to keep co-workers in line!

It's a hard knocks life being a race horse!

lol bj that's a good one. No one can force a horse to do anything it don't want to do...and there's no one forcing mustangs to breed but they sure reproduce like rats. And if a stallion don't want to breed there is NOTHING humans can do about it.

most race horses have better health care, food and all than many people.

The constant whipping? Cramped quarters? Being bought, sold, bred in captivity and forced into slavery for the amusement of others? Being forced to mate with hundreds of other horses after retirement?

Lack of turn out time.
Mine love to be truned out loose on the pasture to run and play and just ba a horse.
When they are at the track they get no turn out time.

Sore legs and back.

They are probably really sad whenever a person uses them until they can't race anymore... then they are considered useless : (
