I am trying to better myself and I just wanted to get some input from a guys point of view.

I have had several sex partners and it has led no where. I guess when I do have sex with the person I feel that maybe it will take it further, but that never happens.

I have been single for over 5 years now and I am very lonely with hormones. LOL. Because of that I don't stop to think about the result of having sex till after and then I find out the man doesn't want a relat.

So I am asking:

Is this a normal thing for men, if they have sex soon, they stop it there and nothing else goes forward? Because it was so easy?
But then Why???

I do not present myself as a slut at all. And it is not like I am on a rampage of sex. I guess that I meet a guy that I find attractive and we start hanging out then things happen, then usually I find out the worst...

I posted a question similar to this without asking the guys input yesterday, if you want to know more,

Please do be rude!

Many guys count their success as a "lover" by the number of notches on their headboard, and it sounds like you have been a notch a time or two. I am a guy and I have to admit I always ant to "make love" with who I am dating, but I can tell when a woman says we have to wait and see where this is going that she is serious about a relationship. I'll wait if she's really someone I would want a long-term relationship with. I suggest you make a man wait and see if he sticks around because you're worth it, or if he just wants to get in your panties. Patients is a virtue girl.....for men and women.

I don't think your seeping with them "makes" them not want a relationship. Guys are just different than girls - guys can really separate sex and relationships. Not to be too blunt, but strip clubs and prostitutes exist because guys make this separation. It is much easier for them to pay for these 'services' and leave it to move on with their day. I don't think women are like that, generall, and it sounds like you fall in to that group.

You sound pretty open. Have you tried having a 'buddy' you can turn to when in need? Maybe that'll tie you over until you find the right LTR for you.

Most guys don't want relationships. Sex without a relationship is like getting to eat dessert without having to eat your veggies. You can be friends for a very long time, have sex, and nothing develops. You can do it instantly and nothing might develop. Men just don't want to be controlled or stuck. Trust me on this.

1. To quick = Booty call
2. To long = Prude or friend
3. The happy medium = Good relationship

You cant jump strait in but need to test the waters first when it happens naturally and not because your really horny then it will turn into somthing better.

Seriously I believe you just haven't been with the right guy, we guys find it easier not to form emotional attachments until we find that one woman who overshadows all else in our lives. keep looking and who knows the one guy you're looking to cement the perfect relationship/sex attachment to is probably closer than you think!!! any further questions... duanebrown57@yahoo.com

You're a booty call. You are giving pleasure to a man, nothing more. Being used to put it bluntly. Have some respect for self, and stop having sex until you are married. If a man cares about you for whom you are, he will respect that. Until then you will be nothing more than an object.

I've banged a girl on the first date and went on to have a relationship with her, and I have also banged some just once.

It just depends on whether or not I like her personality enough to date her again.

if the sex comes before the relationship is serious enough, then yes, it is too easy. the guy will see your more as a sex partner and less of a girlfriend.

ya gotta rope him in before you let him at the goods!
