Mine did that too, I think it may just be a ticklish reaction.

ahhhhh, the tickle spot!! woo-hoo!!

It seems to be a reflexive attempt to scratch the area that's being 'tickled'. Remember that spot! Use the tickle to reward your pup for a job well done, along with verbal prais an treats...it's very powerful and they do enjoy it.

how adorable, too, hunh?

okay, I want to know this too, my pug does this when I scratch on his right side by his hind leg. I think it might be their way of saying that it feels good, or maybe saying a little to the left, little to the right

All puppies and dogs do that. You are touching a sensitive nerve. I always say "here goes there Harley again" hehe

its a standard reaction to you doing this... Its a relfex that helps them scratch flees and things like that. Kinda like someone twitching their leg when they are nervous

All dogs have a spot on their body that triggers this - who knows why? It is normal.

I think that's an involuntary reaction to stimuli, it makes him happy and is harmless.
