That is a simple airstyle, it is not permanant so try it if you like it great keep em, if not you can always take em loose. Color or race has nothing to do with it at all. It just depends on you rlook, some people can wear them and look good some people cant. It is like everything else in life.

From a sista:
You can get corn rows if you want too. But the only problem with white hair is that it is too straight and can be too thin. Sometimes I feel sorry that white people cannot do a lot with their hair except get it cut or wear it in a ponytail and you have to wear the same hairstyle everyday. Black hair has given us the opportunity to wear our hair in many, many different hairstyles.
Even Cleopatra, who was mesopotamian, assimilated with the Africans and wore her hair braided. Cornrows are historical and go back to African braiding. It is also historical in America and has become an artform.
When I see white people wearing black hairstyles, at first I get insulted because I feel they are copying off of us. But then, I think that they are LUCKY to have a friend that close to that they appreciate the hairstyle and found someone that braided their hair.
Bo Derek wore her hair in cornrows and even had beads! She was a 10. But afterwards, she made more movies looking like her regular self and she was never a 10 again!
Cornrows on white people look better than dreads. White people have the ugliest dreads! It's an insult. So if you are going to do it, make sure it's done right and doesn't look a funky mess.

I think so. I've seen White people with corn rows here in my city. It depends on how bold you are in wearing and doing things that might be controversial. There is sure nothing morally or ethically wrong with it,,, but some people are very conservative about what they wear, ya know? some people might think it's weird. Do you care? some people might think it's cool and do it too. Do you know anyone that knows how to do it for you?

You know the old saying, "If you wanna stand on a table and cluck like a chicken, go ahead?" Well, follow that advice. You do whatever makes you happy, and is true to you. As long as you're not hurtin' anybody, you can do whatever you want. This is America after all.

Corn rows in hair is a style - it has nothing to do with a culture or religion.
If you would like to try it - go for it.
