Do ghosts exist? Well, there are places, like houses, bridges, buildings light houses etc that are said to be "haunted" and you can often be told who it is that haunts them.
Are these places haunted by the said person / persons?
NO!
The spirit/s of the supposed 'haunts' have gone to their eternal reward, either life or death.
The spirit in these places in a demon impersonating someone.
If you are a christian, you have authority over these things. Tell them to "Go in Jesus' name". If you are a christian, they have to obey you. It's in the book! If you are a christian, there is no need to be afraid. God has not given to us (christians) a spirit of fear but of love of power and a sound mind.
Go in this spirit.

Proof? How is anyone supposed to do that if you haven't experienced it yourself?
Yes, they exist. I never really believed in them, but my family has a few family haints. And there was a house I lived in that was haunted by the previous owner who died in the room I was renting. He actually protected me from my roommates and would play tricks on them. He would sit at the end of my bed & I could feel the weight from him on my bed. I'd hear him in the kitchen making breakfast.
I would suggest watching Ghost Hunters. Even though much of it is debunked, there are a few really weird and inexplicable things that happen on that show that will give you the heevie geevies.

If ghosts existed then everyone would have seen 1 by now because there are alot of derad ppl out there. I just saw a show called is it real? on the science channel that was all about ghosts and they proved t5o me ghosts do not exist. as a matter of fact they rercreated a bunch of hauntings and ghosts. So you can safely say to your roommate that ghosts do not exist.

What is considered to be proof varys with the individual. Perception of reality differs quite a bit from one person to another. If you are trying to convince yourself that your housemate is right, then that will require one level of proof. If you're trying to document it for science, that is another level. In each case, the perception varies widely. My best advice is to (1.)read a little about quantum physics and you will discover that things aren't necassarily what they appear to be. And (2.) get in touch with a reputable psychic, and ask the same question. Sylvia Brown would be a good start, I think.

I don't belive in ghost, but I do believe in Demons. There was this only guy that saw this demon who said he was God. He later found out that it was satan and not God. Then I think God actually apeared to him. I forget all of the details, but the point is that demons do exist. But they are not ghosts!

When you see one you will no longer doubt their existance.
I lived in a house once that had 3 spirits in it... had some really strange things happening in that place and YES I did see one of them, a woman, once.
Ghosts are real, I've seen them and I don't need any more proof.

No you don't. You need to find something better to do with your roommate than prove ghosts exist.

Go ask casper. And tell your room mate to get a psychological evaluation for her/his magical thinking-its called being a tad idosyncratic. Maybe they have medicine for that. Do they talk to dead people too?
