This is a question that has no definate answer.
Each persons body has its own metabolism and you could start your period when you are 9 or 10 or you could start your period when you are in your teens.

Depends. It really varies with all individuals so don't worry. I got mine when I was 11 going on 12 and that's actually considered early, though I know some friends who got their earlier still. Hey listen, it's a good thing if you've got a later period because that means more time for you to grow taller and all. But if you still haven't gotten your period at 18 - see a doctor. With all the nutrition and lifestyles we have today, early teens and late pre-teen years are about the time you would see your first period. But my advice is - don't look forward to that day, don't worry about it, and don't feel you're not as important or that you're weird because all your friends have gotten theirs. Trust me on this: you're better off with a later period, and the later you get it, the more envied you'd be. Really. Get jumping girl. =)

No one can say exactly when you'll get your first menstrual period, but you will get it some time during puberty. Some girls start puberty at age 8, and others may start as late as age 14 or 15. Each girl goes at her own pace. So don't think you're weird if you start puberty a little earlier or a little later than your friends.

You could start it from the ages of 10 to 14. It just really depends on your body. Nobody is the same when it comes to this.
