Some answerers told me that experiments among siblings really take place but how can we differentiate between experimenting and being very close? There is a Sis of 17 and bro of 12 who're very close as they even behave like lovers at times but how can we say that it is just being good friends? This is a high risk area where it cud even turn to incest and we will never be able to look back if it's too late....so pls suggest me something at least to identify the motive....otherwise give me something that cud detect the real fact...pls...help me

Going overboard into the incest grounds is when you're fondling each other, tongue kissing, actual intercourse. Other than that, it's nothing major. Holding hands, kiss, hugs... that's normal.

Depends on the culture. My roommate in college had been in the army and knew of actual incest in the South, where he'd been stationed.

In many places, families are all over each other, and even nude together much of the time, and it means nothing sexual. In other countries (and in Islam) that would be an outrage.

Do whatever you're comfortable with. Few people will be drawn to incest by naturist behavior. With one exception: siblings (and indeed parent-child or uncle-niece or cousins, but the latter aren't subject to incest rules in many or most jurisdictions anyway, and only in some US states) who are separated at birth and who meet up after puberty are sometimes subject to a syndrome called "genetic affection" which turns into sexual attraction.

One reason, it is said, why Muslims don't allow adoption (only fostering)

It is okay for siblings to be touchy feely...but...sometimes that touchy feely can get one sibling excited sexually and then there is room for the whole thing snowballing..and not realising the consequences of what they are getting into. It may be extremely arousing, exciting and a thrill but one day it will come back and bite you.

how do they behave like lovers I need that information to make my decision

my siblings and I are very close we hug and kiss on the cheek sometimes on the lips of my youngest bros who are 3 and 4 just a peck nothing gross, you know like how a mother will kiss her baby, but we would never think of incest, you may be mistaking the signs, be completely sure before you do anything you'll regret

It depends on how close you mean by 'very close.' I have a brother who is four years younger than me and we walk around with our arms around each other's shoulders when we're in public sometimes. We don't hold hands or anything but we're both very physically affectionate. ie: lots of hugs, he picks me up and throws me around, and I play with his hair. There's never been anything strange/weird or sexual between us. He's very much in love with his fiance and I'm happily married. We were just raised in a very open affectionate family. Things that I would say are over the line, kissing on the lips, loverlike caresses, and long deep looks into each others eyes...if you see this behavior exhibited, I would discuss it with a neutral third party...a counciler, or a social worker who is familiar with incestual relationships...Good luck!

Are you the parent? I find it hard to imagine a 17 year old girl being tempted to "experiment" with any 12 year old boy, let alone her own little brother! It's probably just sister/brotherly affection.

You did not say how you are involved. I would tell the parents who are probably irresponsible. Notify a teacher at school or a third party of your concerns but you had better be 100% sure of the accusations or you can be in very big trouble!

Oh my God, we will grow to be one yet another. someone shop ME FROM MY MARRIAGE!
